This long-term locums role offers consistent weekday coverage in a long-term care setting near Raleigh, North Carolina, with structured hours and continuity of care.

Highlights:

• Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Long-term assignment due to retirement
• Shared, phone-only call from home
• Established team with onsite clinical support

Practice & Cases:

• Adult and geriatric long-term care facility
• Patients with dementia, psychiatric conditions, and chronic illness
• Daily rounds, admissions, discharges, and routine assessments
• Interdisciplinary care with onsite pharmacy, rehab, and behavioral health

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts
• Rotating weeknight call coverage
• Shared 24-hour weekend pager call
• Ongoing full-time coverage

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA required

Logistics:

• All-inclusive rate structure; local candidates preferred
